Metro Welding Supply is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the position of full-time CDL-A driver. This role involves delivering welding and medical gases within the Michigan and northern Ohio regions. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is capable of handling the physical demands of the job, while finding it rewarding.


Our drivers typically work an average of 8-10 hours per day, ensuring that they are home daily and do not have to work on weekends. To be considered for this position, it is essential to have a clean motor vehicle report.

Qualifications

  1. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented person for a physically demanding job
  2. At least 1 year of delivery driving experience required
  3. Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  4. Must have a current & valid CDL A
  5. Must have a current & valid Michigan Drivers License
  6. Must have a clean driving record
  7. Must have excellent organization and time management skills
  8. Must be able to work independently
  9. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors
