We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Maintenance Department as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with general maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and repairing equipment.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for various events or projects.
- Support the maintenance team in conducting repairs and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements to be considered for this position:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication.
- Fork truck operation experience.
- Familiarity with pump repair.
- General understanding of the industrial gas business (helpful but not required).
Physical Requirements:
- Use of heavy equipment and tools, including ladders, hand tools, power tools, and snow removal equipment.
- The ability to perform manual tasks that require dexterity and stamina.

Qualifications
- We are looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented person for a physically demanding job
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication, pump repair, and a general knowledge of the industrial gas business is helpful, but not required.
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to operate a for truck
- Must be good with their hands
- Must have a current & valid Michigan Drivers License
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
